This course does include a brief overview of Photoshop to help you learn or refresh you memory so you can progress on to producing your own 2D renderings, from scratch. Practice makes perfect, but remember these videos will only help if you do the work by watching the video, practicing the tasks along with me, and setting aside time to test your own knowledge. There will be worksheets that include the exact actions I take to make scenes in Photoshop and Homestyler.

I consider myself an expert at making Photoshop do what I need in order to birth my creative vision.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

How long will it take for me to learn the techniques you teach?
That's totally dependant on you ;). However, based on user experience, you'll be able to start using HomeStyler right away and should have a good grip on the program in at least two weeks. The more you practice, the better you'll get. Design 100% in Photoshop does have a learning curve, but if you have a general understanding of Photoshop, you'll be able to get the hang of it over time with practice.
Which course is the best option for me?
For beginners: Based on user experience, you'll be able to use Homestyler right away since I walk you through the interface step by step with a project. Homestyler is free and user-friendly. If you have little to no experience using Photoshop, please follow along with me in the videos and pause when you need to. There is a quick walkthrough of the basic tools you will be using inside of the course to aid you in your coursework. This video is included in all offerings. For intermediates: If you have a general knowledge of Photoshop, you'll do just fine in any course format so feel free to invest in the course that makes sense for you and your budget. It will take practice, of course, to learn and hone this new method. No matter your level, I'm available to help if you have any questions or need further explanation. What's the difference between "eDesign For Beginners" and the other two offerings?
"eDesign For Beginners" is my base course which includes both "Homestyler x Photoshop" and "Design 100% in Photoshop". I am offering "Homestyler x Photoshop" and "Design 100% in Photoshop" as a means to meet any potential customers where they are at, especially in these uncertain times. My goal is to be of support to those looking to enhance/sharpen their skills and accessibility is a core value.
